On October 1, 2005 the California Geological Survey’s (CGS) Bay Area Regional Office relocated to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) campus in Menlo Park, California and entered into a partnership assuming responsibility for over-the-counter retail sales. The current inventory of USGS maps and publications will remain the same with the addition of CGS publications and products for sale. This state-federal partnership will create a seamless "one-stop-shop" for delivery of natural science information products and services.
