A Revised Official Map of Alquist-Priolo Earthquake Fault Zones was released to Los Angeles County and the City of Malibu by the California Geological Survey (CGS) on August 16, 2007.

This map is available in PDF format as well as various GIS formats. Click on the numbered quadrangle on the image to the right to view or download GIS or digital raster graphic files of the zones.

Earthquake Fault Zones are regulatory zones that encompass surface traces of active faults that have a potential for future surface fault rupture. The illustration shows the general location of the map delineating the Earthquake Fault Zones within the affected area of Los Angeles County and the City of Malibu.
