Material Allocation
Process for Multiple
Programs
The Material Allocation
Process for Multiple
Programs application
applies to Processors (PR)
and/or Recycling Centers
(RC) purchasing materials
directly from more than
one curbside program (CS),
dropoff or collection
program (CP), or
community service program
(SP).
Processors and Recycling
Centers in this situation
can apply to the Division
requesting an alternative
method for preparing the
corresponding shipping
reports for each program,
instead of completing a
shipping report (DR6) for
each load received.
In order for a request to
be accepted, it must be
based on a reasonable
method for allocating
materials to the programs.
To be reasonable the
Processor and/or Recycling
Center:
-
Will use the received
weight of the material
purchased by an entity
from the requesting PR
and/or RC to calculate
allocations to the
curbside programs,
dropoff or collection
programs, or community
service programs.
-
Can ensure the weight of
rejected containers,
line breakage, and
out-of-state containers
are not included in the
allocated weight.
-
Can account for each
incoming load of
material.
-
Inspects incoming
material to verify it is
eligible for refund
value payments.
