To improve the quality and marketability of glass beverage container material that curbside programs collect for recycling, the Department will pay a quality glass incentive payment of up to $30.00 per ton, subject to the availability of funds. The Department will make payments to either the operator of a registered curbside program or to any other certified entity that color-sorts glass beverage container material collected by curbside programs, which are substantially free of contamination for recycling.
