Summer 2023 CalGEM Public Meeting on Draft Orphan Well Expenditure Plan
On , July 18, 2023:, CalGEM gave an overview of the proposal to permanently plug and seal orphan wells using state and federal funds. The release began a 45-day public comment period that ended on October 4, 2023. All comments received will be considered for incorporation into the regulations.
